I was born in Nashville, Tennessee but raised in the Sterling Heights and Utica area of Michigan from the age 2. I’ve always liked rock-n-roll right from the start. At an early age I started listing to The Stones, The Who, then came Black Sabbath. I was hooked. I had become a Full Blown Metal Head. That’s when I picked up my first guitar. I was about 9 at the time. I didn’t stick with it long and like any kid I moved on to other toys. I picked up guitar again at age 13 though. I played around in a few bands then at age 15 I switched to playing bass. Guitar players where a dime a dozen back then, but bass players where hard to find. So I found myself in good bands, and kept working my way up. My influence are Geezer Butler, Geddy Lee, John Paul Jones, Gene Simmons, and Steve Harris. |

In the late 70's I played in a hard rock band called Magnum Force, then in the early 80's in a metal band called Beast. Beast had 6 albums that sold all over Europe and was featured in Metal Forces magazine from England. Then in the late 80's and early 90's I got into the tribute scene playing in a Kiss tribute band called Kiss’d. We toured for about 1 year. Then I found my way into a Ozzy tribute band called Mr Crowley. I toured with them for 2 years. I stopped playing for a few years to pursue other opportunities. |

I couldn’t stay away for long. Around 1996 I hooked up with old friends from the band Beast and formed a cover band called Slo Circle for a few years. In 2003 I started a working cover band called Work In Progress and we currently still play out quit regularly. |

In late 2008 I became aware that there was a Michigan based Black Sabbath Tribute band that was looking for a reliable bass player. I contacted “Q” via the internett and checked out Banned From E.A.R.T.H and I could hear how passionate they where in preserving the sounds of Black Sabbath and Ozzy. I've joined the team and that’s where I stand at this time. Thank you for your time. Terry |
